Site Redesign: Better Navigation, Help Pages

February 22nd, 2008 by kaushikgala · No Comments · Tag(s):

Along with new features like F&O analytics, Sector classifications, Watch lists, etc. we have also redesigned the interface at Moneyoga to help users access our content as efficiently as possible. The header now features three sections:

  1. Analytics
  2. Commentary
  3. Community

The Community bit is not yet ready for release, but here is what constitutes the first two:
Moneyoga Site Header

Analytics

  • Stocks, Sectors & Indices: This page - aka our Master List - allows you to quickly jump to any stock, index or sector page for detailed analysis.
  • Screens: This page provides a brief overview of all our end-of-day stock screens.
  • F&O Snapshot, F&O Analytics: These pages link to the newly released F&O analytics.

Commentary

  • How do I use Moneyoga?: This page gives a summary of all that Moneyoga has to offer, and in turn links to the individual help pages for stocks, indices, futures & options.
  • Recent Posts: This page summarizes our latest blog posts.
  • Give us feedback: We have received almost 500 feedback messages to-date from our users - we hope that you’ll keep them coming!

And a very cool, new feature is the auto-complete search: Type in a few letters in the search box, and you’ll get a list of company names or NSE codes that match:

Moneyoga Search

Pick one, and off you go to the Stock page!

Finally, we have made several cosmetic changes to the individual pages - do continue to share your thoughts on what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d like to see.
